AT BRAILLE FM BULGARIA

Today was a day of strong emotions for me. I had never imagined that I would be able to overcome my public speaking anxieties and find myself as a speaker on Braille FM - First Mediator radio. From the emotions, I know that I left many words unsaid, but the experience overall was breathtaking. Two moments will stay with me for a long time.

In the above conversation, "Vladislav Katsarski" shared with me, as a storyteller, a sad but inspiring story: "Some time ago, he found himself in the home of a friend who had unfortunately passed away. Besides the grief, what surprised him was the overflowing house filled with books on all three floors. Out of curiosity, he asked the family members if his friend had managed to read all those books, and the answer he received was that not only had he read them all, but he had read them more than once."

Vladislav ended the story by wishing that my life would be filled with the knowledge of the three-story house full of books, and I truly hope it will be.

The second unexpected moment was the warmth from a lady who was part of the radio staff. She applauded me and encouraged me, saying that everything was perfect, and while hugging me, she struggled to speak in English: "It was perfect. You are an amazing woman!". I believe that at the end of the day, we are all amazing; we just need to be ourselves.

Lastly, I want to thank my dear friend Ivan Ivanov and the Bulgarian Youth Forum for the invitation and the opportunity they provided.
