It's amazing how a country's culture works.

An amazing Bulgarian girl Teodora Koleva unlighted us about the culture of Bulgaria and their traditional holidays.

Getting to know other cultures gives you the opportunity to reflect on your own traditions and connect even more with your country. I can also notice that places close to each other are connected. Some Albanian words are also used in Bulgaria, many traditional foods are also traditional here, and this is a reason more to respect one another.

I will share with you some special celebrations.

Baba Marta (1 March)

As

you can see I was impatient to wait for Baba Marta and already put the gift Teodora gave to me.

Eater (April)

St. Constantine and Elena (21st May) – ritual Nestinarstvo – barefoot fire-walking

Rose festival

Bulgaria is very famous for cultivating roses they make also from them a special oil essence .

Christmas eve and New Year

What about you. Which are your traditional celebration? Let me know on the comments. Till next blog I wish happy days and lots of memories. Hugs.
