A valuable training with Annie

On journey , meets us every day with people full of values. So was Annie, smiling, cheerful, full of joy and always ready to share with others.

Working in a group with international participants, part of different cultures and with different perceptions it is important to know how different countries work to facilitate more communication and interaction with each other. Today Annie found some time to share with us very important cultural interactions, perceptions and intercultural communication based on cultural models. As you see above there is a table with a model of the culture Dimensions. From that table I can imagine how easy my experience here would be because Albania and Bulgaria society in general are both collectivistic, masculine.

Annie also talked with us about her experience as part of ESC in Latvia. My hosting organization Bulgarian Youth Forum was her supporting organization. She explained to us all the advantages that the project offers and what are the challenges you face when changing the social environment and the challenges of adapting to the previous environment after leaving, so I find the whole conversation with her valuable.
