My first impressions in 5 paragraphs.

"New beginnings are like a new book, you never know what it might happen if you don't start reading."

Welcome to my diary. After 10 hour road by bus from Albania I finally arrived to Sofia, very tired but yet with my mind full of thoughts. I don't know how your mind works but I was at that state were you keep answering yes or no for random questions (or also combined by shaking your head ) and still from inside you are thinking:-"What the hell am I doing here?"

So once again to you all my name is Saradia and at this blog I'm sharing my experience as an ESC volunteer as part of the project "Volunteer solidarity and competencies for active youth inclusion" with hosting organization Bulgarian Youth Forum.

To continue with, the next day after that mentioned above was definitely better. When you change the environment of living the most important thing it's to be integrated with the social life of the new city. From the beginning the hospitality from the coordinator of the project and from the volunteers of the Forum was the warmest. I've firstly met Vania who accompanied me at the apartment I'm staying and the day after that I've met Vyara (that by the way I's a very smart girl and very kind) who showed me some important places around the neighborhood and the city center.

My roommate

One of the challenges of this project and at the same time one of the grate possibilities this project gives is having to share the room with other persons. At my case I've already met my roommate. Her name is Derya, it's

from Turkey and fortunately for me a girl with a great personality. We already started to share some information about our cultures with each other and by far we are enjoying our time together.

Sofia book stores

Except the great historical roots of Sofia, as a booklover, one of the things that I mostly like here are the quiet bookstores and the vintage café shops were you can read. Me and Derya have already been at one of this places and I'm sharing it here for you so maybe someone finds it helpful.
